Cold Desserts to Enjoy in the Heat of Summer
Banana Pudding Gelato
1 container Banana Reàl
16 oz vanilla pudding
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 banana
Vanilla wafer cookies, for garnish
Purée all ingredients except cookies in a blender. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. Crumble cookies over the top to serve.
Raspberry White Chocolate Chip Sorbet
1 container Raspberry Reàl
1 container Raspberry Reàl
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 pint raspberries
1/2 cup mini white chocolate chips
Purée Raspberry Reàl, lime juice, and raspberries in a blender. Pour into an ice cream maker, add white chocolate chips, and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
Blueberry Fro-Yo Popsicles
1 container Blueberry Reàl
1 container Blueberry Reàl
1 cup fresh blueberries, smashed
2 cups plain Greek yogurt
Granola, pulverized in blender or food processor (optional)
Whisk the Blueberry Reàl and smashed blueberries into the yogurt.
Pour into freezer-pop molds and freeze for about an hour, until frozen solid.
If desired, after unmolding, dredge in your favorite pulverized granola.
