Puff Pastry Baked Brie
ingredients
figs
pine nuts
2 cups REÀL pepper syrup
1 sheet puff pastry but still cold
All-purpose flour, for rolling
1 ea 8 oz round brie cheese
1 large egg, beaten
Juice of one lemon
Pinch of salt
2 is toasted pine nuts
Garnish
Directions
Cut the puff pastry in six 3×3-inch squares using a sharp knife or pastry wheel and then wrap each brie.
Brush with egg, and then Bake at 400°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
Mix lemon juice, pinch of salt and pepper syrup together.
Add baked Brie to a platter. Top with fresh figs, and drizzle syrup over and around plate.
Add toasted pine nuts and serve with crackers or grilled bread.
